OneTrust CORIE™ Governs AI Agents at Machine Speed

CORIE draws on the existing context and judgment across a company’s privacy, consent, risk, data, and AI programs to enforce rules in real time as agents work across systems—while keeping people in control.

Organizations are already struggling to govern the agents they are encouraging employees to use: OneTrust’s 2026 AI-Ready Governance Report found that 87% of respondents say their organizations encourage agent use, while only 47% say they have clear governance, oversight, and controls. With a projected 1.15 billion active AI agents executing 217 billion actions per day by 2029 (IDC), closing that gap requires a fundamental change in how organizations govern agent activity.

For example, when a marketing agent requests data it isn’t permitted to use, CORIE enforces the policy at the tool call before the model sees the data.
