The state of trust: OneTrust's benchmarking survey release
What is trust?
Trust is as essential to the organization as any physical or digital asset. As such, OneTrust wanted to gain deeper insights into the broader landscape of trust, and understand what our counterparts in business around the globe are seeing, how they’re defining trust, what’s working for their organizations, and what blockers they’re encountering.
We surveyed over 2,000 executives across the US and Europe for their point of view, and aggregated the results into our Trust Benchmarking Survey.
For example:
- 76% of leaders plan to start measuring trust in their organization anywhere from six months to within two years
- 36% stated that the most effective way of measuring trust was through system of record for adherence to data governance and privacy standards
- 69% of respondents suggest that getting employees to understand their role in upholding trust in the organization is challenging
