PrivacyConnect is a global community of privacy and security professionals focused on tools and best practices to implement global privacy laws in practice, specifically the CCPA and GDPR. Through free, local events, ongoing webinars, and an online community, PrivacyConnect enables practitioners to connect, share experiences and learn the latest regulatory requirements and implementation best practices. Following events, practitioners can continue networking through local PrivacyConnect community chapters where privacy professionals can connect to share innovations, best practices and the latest in privacy.
First launched in early 2017, PrivacyConnect has brought together over 5,000 privacy professionals from across the globe.
What is it? Free, local events focused on understanding regulatory requirements and how to implement in practice. Attendees will earn 5 CPE credits.
What’s on the agenda? New content for 2019 will dive deep into the pressing issues facing today’s privacy and security professionals, including the CCPA, GDPR, vendor risk management, incident and breach response and more through practitioner-led sessions and interactive hands-on activities. Upon registration, attendees can vote on a final topic, such as marketing compliance (cookies/consent), data mapping requirements or PIA/DPIA assessment automation.

OneTrust Certification Program:
What is it? A product training course offering a foundation in implementing the OneTrust privacy management tool. Program attendees have the opportunity to become a OneTrust Certified Privacy Management Professional by completing and passing an exam, and attendees can earn up to 7.25 CPE credits.
What’s on the agenda? Each OneTrust module is reviewed at a high-level with conceptual lectures, platform demonstrations, and hands-on exercises. Throughout the training, privacy experts will explain relevant privacy laws and necessary measures organizations must take to move toward compliance.
