- As OneTrust Data Discovery scans and classifies data across cloud collaboration tools like OneDrive, SharePoint, AWS S3, and more, it collects information about files with sensitive data and whether they are being shared internally or externally. These Access Insights are surfaced in intuitive dashboards and reports for easy actioning.
- Highlight risk hotspots, such as specific users with ownership of highly sensitive data, or which systems or SaaS contain the most sensitive data and warrant additional protections or access control. Security and privacy teams can then set policies restricting sharing or open access to sensitive data automatically.
- For organizations using a native tool such as Microsoft Purview to manage access to Microsoft files, OneTrust can pass data sensitivity labels or other tags directly into those tools to trigger native enforcement policies.
