Interoperable Solution with RSA Archer® GRC Platform Offers Enterprises EU GDPR Management Dashboard to Help Facilitate Compliance
ATLANTA - 04/19/2017 -
OneTrust, the leading enterprise privacy management software solution used by over 1,000 organizations to comply with global privacy regulations including the EU GDPR, today announced that it has joined the RSA Ready Technology Partner Program and has established interoperability between the OneTrust Enterprise Privacy Management Software Platform and RSA Archer GRC Platform from RSA, a Dell Technologies business.
This solution allows organizations to leverage use cases available in the RSA Archer GRC Platform, together with use cases within the OneTrust enterprise privacy management software, to have a central and consolidated view of GDPR risk across the organization. OneTrust is the only enterprise privacy management software platform to join the RSA Ready Technology Partner Program.
The combined offering will allow organizations to account for the unique requirements of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), while maintaining the benefits of consistency that an overall enterprise Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) program brings to an organization.
The joint solution provides technology-based automation, workflow, and record keeping solutions to many of GDPR’s operational requirements including Demonstrating Accountability, Implementing Data Protection by Design and Default, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), Policy Management, Data Mapping and Records of Processing Activities, Subject Rights and Consent Management, Vendor Risk Management, Incident and Breach Reporting, and ePrivacy Cookie Compliance.
“The EU’s new GDPR is unique in the operational reform it requires within an organization to protect the privacy and security of customer and employee data. With penalties of 4% of global revenues and an imminent compliance deadline of May 2018, organizations are in urgent need of new technology solutions to simplify compliance,” said OneTrust CEO Kabir Barday, CIPM, CIPP/US, CIPT. “This solution is a great example of bringing together the enterprise technology expertise and market-leading solutions from RSA, together with OneTrust’s deep privacy expertise and purpose built privacy management software for GDPR to offer organizations globally a streamlined privacy management solution.”
“We are pleased to welcome OneTrust into the RSA Ready Partner Program. Organizations need a common foundation to manage policies, controls, risks, assessments and deficiencies across their lines of business,” said Matt Crawley, Senior Manager, Technical Alliances, RSA. “This technology partnership can help customers connect their organization’s privacy practice to the overarching business risk, helping executives evaluate data protection concerns in the context of overall business governance.”
OneTrust’s software offerings also power many of the online tools the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the world’s largest association of privacy professionals, offers to more than 25,000 members across 83 countries. OneTrust will be exhibiting as a Platinum Sponsor at the IAPP Global Privacy Summit in Washington DC on April 19th and 20th.
