Comparing the FADP, Revised FADP, and the GDPR
In August 2022, Switzerland’s Federal Council confirmed the Revised Federal Act on Data Protection will enter into effect in September 2023. The Revised FADP aims to align data protection law in Switzerland more closely with the EU’s GDPR.
