The GDPR in Numbers

Resource GDPR

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) entered into effect on May 25, 2018, and set out several new requirements for data controllers and data processors to comply with. The text of the GDPR details the aims of the regulation, definitions of key terms, fundamental processing principles, the legal bases for processing personal data, and data subject rights, among other things. These areas of compliance are laid out across 11 chapters and 99 articles, each breaking down specific provisions into more granular legal descriptions.
