Operationalizing the Iowa Consumer Data Protection Act

On March 29, 2023, Iowa signed into law SF262, An Act Relating to Consumer Data Protection, joining a patchwork of comprehensive state privacy laws. While the new privacy bill in Iowa will not enter effect until January 1, 2025 there are several ways that businesses that would fall under its scope can prepare.
