iland offers secure cloud infrastructure (IaaS), disaster recovery (DRaaS), and backup as a service (BaaS) to enterprises around the world. With more than 25 years of IT experience serving customers and hosting critical workloads in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and Singapore, iland approaches cloud computing with a different goal: to provide customers with secure, easy-to-adopt cloud services while delivering unmatched management.

This rich culture and history now includes centralizing third-party risk management (TPRM) operations with OneTrust Vendorpedia.

iland has headquarters in Houston, London, and Sydney, while delivering cloud services from 11 cloud regions throughout North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia. Due to the nature of being a global organization with a reliance on third-party vendors, as well as a vendor in and of itself, iland must ensure they are conducting third-party vendor risk assessments, as well as responding to customer assessments in a streamlined manner.

iland’s Director of Compliance, Milou Lammers, sat down with OneTrust for a webinar fireside chat with Jaymin Desai, OneTrust Vendorpedia Offering Manager, to discuss approaches to TPRM and more. In this webinar, hear from Milou first-hand on how she was able to simplify TPRM for both iland and their vendors by leveraging questionnaire response automation (QRA).  She’ll share how iland’s TPRM program was created, best practices for engaging vendors in the assessment process, and successful strategies to engage employees in TPRM.

“The first step of our third-party risk management program was mapping the vendors and then creating a database within OneTrust.  One of the best parts about the OneTrust platform is that it enables us to track documents beyond vendor contracts, but also compliance documentation,” stated Lammers.
