OneTrust Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) Portal Simplifies GDPR Compliance
Under the GDPR, data subjects are given specific rights over there data and can seek compensation for damages suffered. Many regulators and industry experts expect the new regulations to lead to an increased risk of class action law suits and brand/reputation damage if companies fail to properly meet the rights of data subjects.
OneTrust launched the first-to-market Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) portal, allowing data subjects to submit requests directly to organizations that process their data and organizations to demonstrate compliance and automate record keeping by operationalizing the fulfillment of data subject requests. The comprehensive solution helps organizations comply with the right to be forgotten (erasure), access and portability requirements under the GDPR.

The OneTrust DSAR portal is fully customizable and integrated into the comprehensive OneTrust privacy management platform. The enterprise-grade portal is highly scalable, multi-lingual and can be deployed in the cloud or on-premise to meet global data residency requirements
Organizations can also access the underlying data inventory and map to fulfill a request, transmit the data to the individual through a secure portal, and generate the proper documentation for evidence in the event of a regulator inquiry. OneTrust provides organizations with the ability to tailor a branded web form – linked from the company’s privacy policy web page – as well as the ability to receive notification of a submitted request, validate the identity, and automatically file an extension if the one-month deadline is approaching.
