Privacy by Design creator Ann Cavoukian, PhD, commented on the news:
“The area of privacy-preserving measures is constantly in flux. For true data protection, privacy professionals need technologies that are powered by the latest research, while remaining flexible enough to allow companies to create their own programs that best suit their business needs. I’ve watched OneTrust and DataGuidance grow over the years and deliver true value, especially for their customers. I have no doubt that combining the two will deliver even greater value for their customers. This is a unique integration for all involved, ultimately yielding positive gains for the privacy field.”
