Following a vote on Proposition 24 in California, the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (‘CPRA’) – or CCPA 2.0 – has passed. Although the CPRA will not enter into effect until January 1, 2023, it will still have significant impact on businesses operating in California or those processing the data of Californians.
